I took a trip to Arizona to visit old friends. I decided to come back by way of Moab, and Arches. The pictures below are from my side trip into Arches
Ideally I would take several days, and ride through on my bike so I could stop more frequently. But on this trip I had my dog. Dogs are not allowed on the trails, and really shouldn't be left in cars. Plus, many of the better arch views are best taken from trails. So, this is what I got.
In addition, Canyonlands National Park is only a few miles away, and Capital Reef, Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase Escalante, and even Zion aren't far. So some day, I'd like to do a 1-2 week bike trip through this whole area.
All pictures were taken with my Fuji XT-20 24 MP Digital Mirrorless Camera. It is a 2/3 crop sensor camera, so 35mm equivilent lens sizes are 1.5 larger. If the focal lenth listed is 50mm or greater, the picture was taken with my 50-230 telphoto zoom - AKA the "Plastic Fantastic". 75 mm to 300 mm equivilent. If less than 50 mm, it is the standard 16 mm to 50 mm "kit" zoom - 24 mm to 75 mm equivilent.
